Hi, I'm Carol!

I'm a Texas-born-and-raised gal and have never lived anywhere else! I'm a wife, mom, NaNa, lifelong creative, Bible journaler, and lover of all things paper, paint, texture, and—let's be truthful—a good pile of craft supplies!

I've been married to my wonderful husband, Bob, for 46 years. We were high school sweethearts, and together we've raised three children who are now grown and our oldest has blessed us with two precious grandchildren. Family is such an important part of my life, and I'm incredibly thankful for the life God has given us.

I've Always Been a Creative

I've been creating for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, my creative interests have taken me in all kinds of directions—scrapbooking, paper crafting, art journaling, junk journals, mixed media, Bible journaling, and just about anything that gives me an excuse to pull out the paint, paper, scissors, and glue!

But somewhere along the way, creativity became about much more than simply making pretty things.

I began to see how beautifully faith and creativity can work together.

Bible journaling gave me a way to slow down and spend more time with God's Word. Instead of simply reading a passage and moving on, creativity encouraged me to linger—to study the words, think about what they meant, and respond to Scripture in a way that was personal and meaningful.

And that's a big part of why Carol Adams Creations exists today.

Helping You Grow in Faith Through Creativity

My heart is to encourage others to explore their creativity while growing deeper in their faith.

Maybe you've always considered yourself creative. Or maybe you're thinking, “Carol, I can't draw a straight line!”

That's okay! You don't have to be an artist to create, and you certainly don't need a craft room filled with the latest supplies.

I believe creativity is less about perfection and more about being willing to try.

Here at Carol Adams Creations, you'll find Bible journaling, devotionals, creative Scripture studies, mixed media, art journaling, paper crafts, printables, tutorials, and lots of inspiration for using the supplies you already have.

Some days we may dig deeper into a passage of Scripture. Other days we may get our hands covered in paint, make a junk journal, experiment with a new technique, or turn a handful of scraps into something completely unexpected.

And that's part of the fun!
