Think On These Things - Scripture Challenge - Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
If you've ever found your thoughts spiraling toward worry, fear, or negativity, you're not alone. Our minds can feel like battlegrounds some days. But in Philippians 4:8, God gives us a clear, beautiful roadmap for what our thoughts should dwell on:
truth, nobility, righteousness, purity, loveliness, admiration, excellence, and praise!

I love this verse because it helps steer my mind away from negativity—and that’s exactly what Paul intended. It's a call to intentional thinking.
We can’t always control what thoughts pop into our minds, but we can choose which ones we dwell on.
It’s like curating a gallery in our mind: what do we hang on the walls of our thought life? Worry or wonder? Criticism or compassion? Fear or faith?
God invites us to think higher, brighter, and more beautifully—because our thoughts shape our lives, our worship, and even our creativity.
